Note on Monofilament Tolerances:

Values are approximate standards. Breaking strength tests conducted at standard room temperature. Custom diameters, colors (Clear, Dark Green, Smoke, Hi-Vis Yellow), and pre-cut leaders are available upon request.

Wire Rope & Chain Safety Load Factors

When rigging commercial trawl doors, longline setting blocks, or anchor ground tackle, maintain a minimum 5:1 safety factor on wire rope and 4:1 on Grade 43/70 transport chain.

  • Grade 43 Galvanized Chain: High strength-to-weight ratio
  • 6x19 Stainless Wire Rope: Corrosion resistant deck wire
  • Heavy Crane Swivels: Prevents line twist during deep sets

Custom Rigging & Splicing Services

River Marine Supply operates a full-service rigging shop capable of mechanical wire crimping, synthetic rope splicing, thimble installations, and custom longline leader preparation.
